Hello everyone! I recently purchased a Samsung R519 laptop and I have doubts! how to do to keep the battery in good condition? someone told me that when we use as a desktop you to remove the battery and use it directly on the outlet, but I thought someone else to keep the battery permanently attached and at least 1-2 times a month to make him a complete cycle (download - upload) for a longer battery life! and another thing that I nelamureste ...: in the bios have a setting for the life cycle of the battery (enable - disable) when you set it to * enable *... battery charging than 80%, and when it * disable * battery is charging 100%! I know something about this?

The biggest "enemy" of a laptop battery is heat. As it exists in full during operation of a laptop is recommended removal of the cell and keep in a cool place. Older users recommend checking and loading the battery, to a level of 70-80%, once per week.

I would not want to upset anyone, know about all those who post items (I want to say this about people in politics, but can not).
Oricum as old laptops debugger can tell you that not every apartment company manufacturing such equipment, and as functioning without fixed energy source (network) is actually the main quality of a laptop, do not underestimate the user manual as well as tips on site producer, he is most able to give you the best advice for your device, of courage and write them a mail, once you bought one of their product, you are a partner for them and you will only advise you.
Eu many laptops I do after I asked the source, and believe me, I can not afford to give out of pocket if you ruin a device made for repair.

bafta in everything you have proposed and congratulations for acquisition.

It is not what your manufacturer recommends.

Producatorul not ever tell you that every battery is worn at each (rarely meet batteries that said, guaranteed to withstand load x cycles). So the idea is to avoid subjecting the battery to load if you do not need. That is, turn off the laptop, him out of the socket, and in May it pronesti in outlet tomorrow. By tomorrow, he will "suck" 1-2% of the battery and when plugged into the outlet will be, will load that 1-2% => wear useless. For that I have recommended to charge the battery and a 100% fit when he needs it.

Cum I said, I am so done with an old laptop, and 5 years of battery kept the new days, 3 o'clock. And so I know more people.
 new laptop models
Acum were implemented in software bios thing - not charge the battery unless you get below a certain threshold. I guess the reason that software implementation is same as explained by me.
